Ergänzt wird das Spektrum durch eine werktäglich betriebene Anästhesieambulanz zur Aufklärung, Risikoevaluation und präanästhesiologischen Untersuchung.
Die Klinik für Anästhesie, Intensiv- und Notfallmedizin versorgt anästhesiologisch 9 Operationssäle im Zentral-OP sowie 2 OP-Säle im angeschlossenen ambulanten OP-Zentrum (AOZ). Die Zahl der Anästhesien liegt bei ca. 14.000/Jahr. Durch das große chirurgische Spektrum bieten wir alle gängigen Anästhesieformen und -techniken: Inhalations-, balancierte oder total intravenöse Anästhesie (TIVA) mit einem hohen Anteil an Regionalanästhesien (thorakale PDA, Spinalanästhesie, Plexus + periphere Nervenblockaden) und Kombinationsverfahren an.
